Yes. Custom labeling is available at a fee of $10  per quarter cattle, half pig, or whole lamb.


"Custom exempt" is the terminology used to describe meat that has been processed NOT under USDA inspection. 


Under USDA and FSIS regulation, custom exempt product may NOT be used for retail or resale. 


Yes - We offer both USDA inspected and custom exempt processing.


No. At this time there is currently no shipping or delivery service.

Not a problem! Contact our staff to be connected with a list of different farms and rasing techniques.


Bare Bones Butchering does NOT raise or provide animals for sale.


At Bare Bones Butchering we always go the extra mile to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. Some common order requests are:


  • Special cuts other than listed on cut sheet
  • Custom labeling
  • Meat prepared for dehydration (jerky prep)
  • Additional cut specifications ( i.e. chuck steak thickness 3/4", all other steaks 1")
  • Custom boxes
  • Vacuum sealed ground meat


*Additional fees may apply and vary based on complexity, additional resources consumed, and labor. Please contact us for a quote.


All payments are due upon order pick-up.


Yes, Bare Bones Butchering has been under USDA grant of inspection since January 2025.


Currently all orders can be paid in cash or check. 


Credit card payment options are coming soon!

As of Right now we do no sell individual cuts of meat, but we welcome special orders for specific cuts of meat if you are buying a 1/4 1/2 or whole animal from a farmer. Simply contact us and we'll be happy to accommodate your request. Please be aware additional fees may apply.


Accommodations can be made for allergen based concerns.
